We are proudly designing and coordinating Wonder Women Tech in Long Beach, California. Therefore we would LOVE to provide you with more insight and details about this ground-breaking and innovative conference for 5000 attendees from July 15-17, 2016. While reading, you get motivated to attend, sponsor, or get involved in any other way, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Wonder Women Tech (WWT) is a conference franchise and series of educational programming and initiatives that highlights, educates, and celebrates women and diversity in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) innovation and entrepreneurialism. All conferences and programming offer a variety of speakers, panel discussions, coding classes, community inclusion activities and other dynamic initiatives geared towards empowering women and girls.

Areas to be explored:
Innovations in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math, Startups/Startup Culture, Female Founders, Diversity and Inclusion, Social Innovation, Aerospace, Bioengineering, Engineering, Eco-Tech, Robotics, Mathematics, Leadership, Closing the Gender Gap, Pioneers in Tech, Space exploration, Future of Travel, Mobility, Automotive Innovation, The Intersection between Arts and STEM, Healthcare technology, Sports technology, and more.

WWT’s mission is to ‘disrupt the conference model’ and create a shift in diversity and inclusion within STEAM industries by offering revolutionary content and impactful discussions that will further the development of women, girls and diversity as innovators.

All conferences will support and facilitate a community driven Wonder Women Tech Week leading up to the Wonder Women Tech Conference, where strategic partners can host their own satellite events during WWT week.

Inclusivity is one of the primary drivers and WWT intend to offer as many engagement opportunities to as many socioeconomically disparate audiences as possible. The Junior Innovation Camp/Wonder Girls Camp is provided at no cost to participants, and engages students ages 8 to 12 and ages 13 to 17 years old with courses that teach coding, film making, game development, DIY projects and age appropriate entrepreneurship.

WWT Immersion program pairs our Sponsors and Partners with our attendees and online community network with mentorship and ‘Job Shadow’ opportunities. The Wonder Women Tech Ambassador program creates a cross promotional partnership and engagement platform between our strategic partners and the WWT community. WWT Learning Center within the conferences teaches women and students seeking to either change careers or learn a new skill, how to code and/or build games. We offer a WWT Career Fair which allows conference attendees and registered guests to attend a career fair which will feature booths from our sponsor/partners who are actively looking for talent in STEAM, and provide an opportunity for attendees to secure opportunities for job placement and internships.

We also partner with cities like Long Beach, Los Angeles, and universities like Arizona State University and other organizations to offer Wonder Women Hacks and Hacks 4 Humanity hackathon programming, which allows developers, visionaries, technologists, UX designers and creatives to build mobile apps that will impact women and girls, or contribute to the Social Good.

The 2016 conference theme is #WeArePioneers and WWT will explore the next frontier in Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts, Math and Innovation and highlight the women who have paved the way for future generations in STEAM! Primary programming will occur on July 16th & 17th from 9AM to 5PM at the Long Beach Convention Center. WWT will host conference opening and closing parties during the evenings of July 15th & 17th (Venue and Times TBA). The City of Long Beach has made a commitment to sponsor the Wonder Women Tech Conference for the next three years, 2016 through 2018 and we look forward to expanding our vision Internationally!
